Resolutions- BODY LOVE

 

In the last blog post I proposed that rather than making resolutions out of guilt, obligation or duty we should resolve to do some things that we truly LOVE!!

 

After all we are never going to keep a resolution if we don’t truly, truly enjoy it and lets be honest, life is tricky enough without adding to our daily pressures.

 

It is so important that we understand that making ourselves happy isn’t selfish, it is essential and we are are so much more helpful, loving, supportive and stronger when we are happy ourselves.

 

Who agrees?

 

In this series of blogs I am going to focus on ways that we can resolve to do wonderful, exciting, uplifting things for BODY, MIND & SPIRIT.

 

(It is also worth adding a little reminder here that every day is a new day and you don’t have to wait until the 1st of January to start feeling good!!)

 

So….. lets focus on….our bodies.

 

Lots of us have a complex and difficult relationship with our bodies and often a lot of our resolutions resolve around weight loss and changing something about our bodies.  Wanting to make a change and become healthier is of course a positive but looking at the body we already have in a negative way can start off our resolution with unnecessary pressure and discomfort.
